Its deeper water makes it ideal for swimming and the marine reserve (Raui) ensures that there is a plentiful and varied supply of lagoon fish to admire.  There is plenty of parking opposite the Dive Centre or let the Island Bus know you want to get off at Aroa Beach between the Rarotongan Resort and Lagoon Lodges.
